espresso-infused guacamole


  • 3 ripe avocados, peeled and mashed
  • 1 small red onion, finely diced
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 1 shot of espresso (cooled)
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. In a bowl, combine mashed avocados, diced red onion, diced tomato, chopped cilantro, and chopped jalapeño.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the cooled shot of espresso and lime juice.
  3. Pour the espresso-lime mixture over the avocado mixture.
  4. Gently fold the ingredients together until well combined.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for your favorite dishes.
